Ein Traum wird war

Der Ashford Jack Loom überzeugt nicht nur durch seine Funktionalität, sondern auch durch sein ansprechendes Design. Seine großzügige Webbreite bietet Spielraum für alle erdentlichen Projekte, und die Anbindung der Tritte gestaltet sich mühelos.

Der Jack Loom wurde in 3 Paketen geliefert. Gut durchdacht, ich konnte alle drei selbständig ins Haus tragen. Hatte ursprünglich etwas Sorge, als ich hörte eine Spedition übernimmt den Transport. Zusätzlich hatte ich eine Webbank bestellt. Würde ich auch jedem empfehlen (wenn auch leider sehr teuer!!). Der Aufgebaute Jack Loom ist zum Glück noch leicht genug, dass man ihn ohne weitere Hilfe verschieben kann.

Das Zusammenspiel von Kettbremse und Warenbaum ist intuitiv, mit einer einfachen Hand- und Fußbewegung lässt sich das Gewebe problemlos aufwickeln. Dank der durchdachten Abstände der Tritte entfällt das ständige Kontrollieren der Fußposition, was den Webprozess angenehmer macht.

Los geht es

Was für eine Freude! 😄
Die Bestellung wurde am Freitagmorgen aufgegeben, und die Woche darauf geliefert. Was soll man da noch sagen...? Sehr aufregend das alles! Der Aufbau, den wir zu zweit erledigten, dauerte etwa 8 Stunden, mit einigen "Kreativ-Pausen" zwischendurch. Das Einfädeln der Kette erforderte dann doch etwas Geduld.

Der Übergang von einem Webrahmen ist eine kleine Umstellung, besonders die Fußpedale und das Schiffchen Schießen benötigen noch etwas Übung. Der Webstuhl ist jedoch hochwertig verarbeitet und ich bin zuversichtlich, dass mein Jack mich nicht enttäuschen wird. Ich freue mich schon auf viele wunderbare Webstücke, die ich kreieren werde. 🌟
