Ashford warping tree - natural wood

This rotating warping beam makes it quick and easy to wind long warps. The yarn is wound over the sturdy vertical posts and not over pegs. A warp length of up to 15 m (approx. 16 yards) is possible.

Schärmühle oder Schärbaum

Wegen Rückenschmerzen habe ich mein altes Schärbrett durch eine Ashford Schärmühle ersetzt. Der Aufbau war einfach. Ich habe dann mehrere Bücher gelesen, aber jedes beschreibt eine andere Methode zum Schären der Kette. In einem Buch stand, dass man die Mühle IMMER nach links drehen soll. Wenn ich das Ende der Kette erreicht habe, drehe ich die Mühle dann nach rechts zurück oder nicht? Benutze ich beide Fadenkreuze? Ich habe online nachgeschaut, bin aber immer noch unsicher.
