Die Ashford Shuttle Race (auf Deutsch: Schützenbahn) ist eine Laufbahn für Handschützen und Webschiffchen, die speziell als Nachrüstsatz für die Tischwebstühle von Ashford entwickelt wurde. Sie bietet eine unterstützte Führung, damit das Schiffchen mühelos und gleichmäßig über alle Fäden gleitet.
Die Schützenbahn biegt sich beim Anschlagen aus dem Weg und kehrt danach automatisch in ihre Position zurück. Selbst Anfänger, die zuvor noch nie ein Schiffchen geworfen haben, konnten damit erfolgreich arbeiten. Das Shuttle Race verhindert, dass das Schiffchen abtaucht, und macht das Weben schneller, angenehmer und effizienter.
