Made from Swedish pine, the warping beam is easy to handle. It consists of four longitudinal slats to hold the threads and a lower and an upper warping beam on which the gear cross and the crosshairs are formed. Removable pins make this process easier. All parts are mounted on an axle.
The warping beam can be folded up, which means it takes up very little storage space. The individual warp length can be adjusted by moving the warping beams.
The warping board is a solid frame that can be used either hanging or lying down. The dimensions are chosen so that the frame can be attached to the back of the Julia loom.
