The 8 or 16-shaft table loom from Louet

The Jane table loom from the Dutch manufacturer Louet is a true all-rounder and offers you 8 or even an impressive 16 shafts in this configuration. This makes the model comparable to the Ashford 16-shaft table loom .

Made from sturdy, varnished beechwood, the Jane impresses with its high-quality workmanship. A built-in reed comb provides additional stability. The loom is delivered partially pre-assembled so you can get started quickly.

The 8-shaft loom is available in weaving widths of 40 cm (15 3/4"), 50 cm (20") and 70 cm (27 5/8"). The 16-shaft loom is also available in weaving widths of 50 cm (20") and 70 cm (27 5/8"), but also in width 90 cm (35").

Important features:

  • The cords run exclusively over rollers and wheels, which ensures a long service life without wear.
  • The stop box remains at the back, creating a spacious and easily accessible loom compartment.
  • The loom folds down to a height of just 14 cm (21 cm for the 16-shaft model), making it easy to transport and store.

Scope of delivery:

  • Stainless steel reed in 40/10,
  • tie and cross bars
  • 16 warp rods
  • up to 1200 Texsolv strands 205 mm (50/70)

The base frame is available separately and offers additional stability. Please note that the 70 cm version does not have a handle. A suitable transport bag and other accessories are available under the Accessories tab. Louet does not currently offer a carry bag for models with a weaving width of 70 cm and 90 cm.

Dimensions and weight (W x D x H):

  • Jane 40: 57 x 75 x 65 cm, 8 kg (17.6 lb)
  • Jane 50: 67 x 75 x 65 cm, 10.5 kg (23 lb)
  • Jane 70: 87 x 75 x 65 cm, 13.5 kg (30 lb)

Jane Webstuhl 40 cm
