Stretchers are indispensable tools for all weavers who value clean and even selvedges. They prevent the fabric from shrinking after weft insertion, thus contributing to a precise weave.
Thanks to their adjustable design, the spreader bars can be individually adjusted to the respective weaving width. At the beginning of the weaving process, the spreader bar should be positioned approximately 2–3 cm from the reed when the loom is in its resting position. During weaving, the spreader bar can be repositioned every 5–10 cm as needed.
