The Flying Dutchman from the Dutch manufacturer Louet is an innovative and proven shuttle for loom weaving. This shuttle is especially popular with professional weavers.

  • Metal Bail: The curved upper metal bail ensures smooth movement of the shooter and facilitates passage through the compartment by pushing apart sticky warp threads.
  • Locking guide: The angled locking guide for the weft thread allows the yarn to be unwound easily.

The Flying Dutchman is suitable for cardboard spools up to 15 cm long, as well as Ashford shuttle spools/plastic spools with a length of 11 cm (BSB10). Note: Ashford shuttle spools/plastic spools with a length of 16 cm (BSBXL10) are not compatible.
